![]() Online Marketing Promotion Support Client: The Client is a marketing company that was managing a promotion by a prominent supplier and manufacturer of hair products. Client Needs: The Client was involved in promoting and managing a "Free lipstick" with purchase promotion. A contact centre was required for customer service purposes as well as phone registration. Customers needed to register in order to claim a free lipstick with their purchase. The objectives of this campaign were to: 1. Ensure that every registration is recorded 2. Every registration is legitimate by tracking of product bar codes & ABN number 3. Ensure free lipstick fulfilment of every legitimate registration Solution: The Client had only 1 method of obtaining registrations - which was to have Customers call a toll-free number. SGS suggested that an online registration website be set up to cut down on the number of calls and open up the methods of registration for the convenience of their customers. Both these solutions were set up, the website was fully customised to meet the requirements of the campaign including a customised registration form with bar-code validations & ABN number validation. The contact centre provided phone registrations and customer queries. An online, real-time reporting page was also supplied to the client for them to keep track of the campaign's progress. Results: The Client and their supplier had a target of 4000 registrations for this campaign, however with the addition of the online facility, the actual number of registration reached 14,300. The client and their supplier have never had such a great response to any of their campaigns prior to outsourcing their marketing support to SGS. |
